Pituophis deppei is commonly known as the Mexican pine snake, it is a species of nonvenomous colubrid snake endemic to Mexico. There are two recognized subspecies. Deppei Deppei and Deppei Jani. The name Deppei come from the German Artist Ferdinand Deppe, who collected natural history specimens in Mexico.
These are so beautiful even though I love the Jani. They are such a cool snake with good size and I love the temperament.
