Corn snakes have been known to live up to 23 years in human care. Due to the very low probability of them biting, they are considered the best snake for a beginner snake for children. Adults will reach 3-5 feet long and records up to 6 feet.
Personal Notes
This is my favorite snake for a kid. That is my three year old grandson with his very first snake. He had a choice of just about any snake he wanted and luckily he picked this one. Oh by the way he named him Red.
